About the Role
We are seeking a skilled EPLAN Designer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team developing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and supporting infrastructure for grid and industrial applications.
As a key member of the electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering detailed electrical design drawings and documentation in EPLAN P8, supporting new build and retrofit energy storage projects.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain detailed electrical schematics in EPLAN P8
Design control cabinets, power distribution panels, and interconnection diagrams
Develop terminal diagrams, cable lists, and BOMs for low and medium-voltage systems
Work closely with electrical engineers, project leads, and panel builders to ensure design compliance
Apply standards such as IEC, VDE, and ATEX where required
Support as-built drawing updates and design modifications post-FAT
Required Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience with EPLAN P8 (mandatory)
Background in electrical design for industrial, energy, or automation projects
Strong understanding of control systems, power wiring, and field instrumentation
Experience designing systems that include battery storage, inverters, or power electronics is a big plus
Familiarity with international standards (IEC 61439, IEC 60204, etc.)
Ability to interpret and revise single-line diagrams and system architectures
Fluent in English; Dutch or German is a bonus

Hardware : Batteries, inverters, switchboards, HVAC interfaces
Standards : IEC, VDE, ATEX (depending on project)
