Amaris Consulting is looking for a .NET Technical Lead to join our team in Brussels and take ownership of key software development projects. You’ll play a pivotal role in leading development teams, shaping technical solutions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable applications for our clients.
🔥 Your Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of 3 developers in the design, development, and delivery of .NET based solutions.
* Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and best practices to ensure code quality and team performance.
* Oversee and participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
* Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps.
* Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
* Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
* Identify opportunities for technical improvements, scalability, and performance optimization.
* Lead DevOps initiatives on the project, with key responsibilities around cloud infrastructure management (e.g., Azure) and automation using Terraform.
* Ensure adherence to DevOps and Agile practices across development cycles.
🎯 Your Profile:
* You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* You have 8+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in a leadership role or coaching role.
* Strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, and related frameworks (ASP.NET, Blazor).
* Solid knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and development of RESTful APIs.
* Proven experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
* Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker, and familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
* Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.
* Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps or similar).
* Comfortable working in Agile environments, with experience leading technical ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).
* Excellent communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
* Fluent in English and French (spoken and written); knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
* Willing and available to work on-site in Brussels.
