Your mission
1) Translate Customer Requirements into Shopfloor Reality
• Convert customer specifications and standards into CTQs (Critical-to-Quality), control plans, and work instructions for operators/technicians.
• Facilitate requirements breakdown sessions with Engineering, NPI, and Production to ensure design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and design-for-test (DFT) are addressed.
• Author/validate Manufacturing Quality Plans (MQPs) including inspection points, sampling, SPC charts, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure operator training & certification aligns with the latest specs, drawings, test limits, and rework codes.
2) Product & Production Quality Control (Electronics & RF)
• Define and monitor quality gates: incoming inspection, AOI, X ray (BGA, voiding), ICT, FCT, boundary scan/JTAG, burn in, and RF functional tests (e.g., sensitivity, output power, EVM, BER, spectrum mask).
• Lead first article inspections (FAI) and process capability studies (Cp/Cpk) for soldering, assembly, calibration, and RF alignment steps.
• Drive root cause analysis and CAPA (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) for test failures, field returns (RMA), and escaped defects.
• Maintain DFMEA/PFMEA, MSA (gauge R&R), and ensure test equipment calibration and traceability.
3) 9S Shopfloor Excellence
• Lead implementation of 9S methodology on the shopfloor to improve order, safety, standardization, and sustainability.
• Run 9S audits and action plans, ensuring visual controls, point-of-use storage, ergonomic flow, and audit trail of improvements.
• Coach team leaders and operators, fostering a culture of discipline and pride in workplace organization.
4) Audit Readiness & Compliance
• Prepare internal/external audits (e.g., ISO 9001 and customer audits): evidence packs, process mappings, document control, calibration records, and training matrices.
• Conduct mock audits, close non-conformities with sustainable CAPA, and maintain audit readiness (always ready status).
• Ensure compliance with electronics and radio regulations/standards applicable to your products (e.g., IPC workmanship, EMC/EMI, product RF performance, CE/RED in the EU, FCC as applicable).
5) Continuous Improvement & Leadership
• Identify and deliver projects that reduce defects, scrap, and rework, increase first pass yield, and shorten cycle time.
• Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving with empathy and enthusiasm; remove blockers, align stakeholders, and keep momentum.
• Create dashboards and daily management routines; present quality performance and improvement plans to leadership.
About you
• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Electro Mechanical Engineering (or Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics).
• Experience: 3–7+ years in product/production quality within electronics manufacturing (PCBs/assemblies) and radio communication / RF equipment.
• Demonstrated success implementing 5S programs and sustaining results on the shopfloor.
• Strong command of root cause analysis tools (8D, Fishbone, 5 Why) and FMEA/Control Plan development.
• Practical knowledge of ISO 9001 systems and audit preparation; experience with customer audits highly valued.
• Excellent communication; able to translate technical requirements into clear, actionable operator guidance.
• Proven leadership, empathy, coordination, and a catalyst mindset.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 / IPC-A-600, ESD controls (IEC 61340-5-1), and RF standards/regulations (RED 2014/53/EU, EMC, CE marking; FCC if applicable).
• Automotive or aerospace quality exposure (APQP/PPAP).
• Experience with MES/ERP, quality modules, and data visualization (e.g., Power BI).
• Proficiency in two languages: French and English.
