HR Business Partner

Full- time position based in Ostend (Belgium)


Are you ready to manage the entire HR cycle and be the go-to person for both leaders and employees? If so, we’re looking for you to join our team as a HR Business Partner! In this role, you'll work with a diverse mix of white- and blue-collar teams, making a real impact on their work experiences while keeping business needs in mind. As HR Business Partner you have the exciting opportunity to be part of an HR team with a startup mentality, where your ideas will help shape and refine processes. You’ll be the trusted point of contact for both blue- and white-collar workers and their leaders, making a real impact on their experience. If you're passionate about blending soft and hard HR, thrive on managing the entire HR cycle from onboarding to offboarding, and love connecting with people, then we want to hear from you! What you’ll do

* Be the go-to HR expert for leaders and managers, helping them navigate performance, development, and all things people-related.
* Own the employee journey—from onboarding to offboarding—creating a smooth, welcoming experience every step of the way.
* Tackle tough employee issues, working with legal and rewards teams to find smart, creative solutions that keep things compliant.
* Manage HR policies, making sure they’re clear, fair, and aligned with local laws to ensure consistency across the board.
* Help us to roll out and rock a new HR Information System (HRIS), training teammates and making sure everyone gets the most out of it.
* Work with leaders to align HR strategies with business goals, driving engagement, retention, and overall team vibes.
* Bring your entrepreneurial spirit to help build HR practices that grow with the business, shaping an innovative, exciting workplace culture.
* Support during peak seasons the payroll team to ensure smooth, accurate processing and keep everything running like clockwork.



This is how we describe you

* 5+ years of experience as HRBP or in a similar role, managing both white- and blue-collar workers.
* Strong HR expertise with up-to-date knowledge of people practices.
* Expertise in both hard and soft HR.
* Ability to align HR strategies with business goals to drive performance.
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills, influencing and gaining trust.
* Effective problem solver, implementing practical solutions.
* Experienced with HR platforms to improve efficiency.
* Fluent in English and Dutch.
* Payroll experience, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

What Success Looks Like

* Within 30 days, Full training into HR processes
* By 60 days, Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
* At 90 days, you will independently manage projects.
