Role Overview:
As Head of the Drafting Office, you will lead and coordinate a team of technical draftsmen, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality design plans for heavy steel structures. Acting as the main technical contact, you will liaise with internal teams and clients, ensuring that all technical specifications are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the drafting team, managing workload and project timelines
* Oversee detailed designs and workshop drawings
* Provide technical solutions for complex design issues
* Conduct on-site steel structure surveys with the team
* Collaborate closely with production and project managers
* Represent the drafting office in client meetings

PROFIL RECHERCHÉ
* Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
* 5+ years as a draftsman, ideally with leadership experience
* Strong skills in CAD (Tekla Structure, Inventor, AutoCAD)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
* Clear communication skills, with a valid Category B driver's license
