Business Partner - Finance Director
As a Business Partner - Finance Director at Michael Page, you will play a key role in driving the financial strategy and performance of our organization.
* Lead a team of 2 Junior Controllers, providing guidance and coaching to ensure their success.
* Develop and implement annual budgets and 3-5 year plans, ensuring alignment with company goals.
* Regularly review and analyze periodic rolling forecasts, identifying areas for improvement.
* Present monthly Business Reviews to senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic recommendations.
* Maintain strong financial discipline through P&L tracking and specific reporting, including KPIs and dashboards.
* Provide strategic advice to senior leaders, serving as a trusted business partner and thought leader.
* Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and identify areas for process improvement.
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent field.
* Fluent in Dutch (minimum C1) and proficient in English (minimum C1), with intermediate French skills (minimum B2).
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar position, preferably as a Business Controller or in a BIG4 firm.
* While team management experience is not necessary, a passion for coaching junior controllers is an asset.
* Critical thinking, analytical skills, and proactivity are essential qualities for this role.
* You must be a natural business partner, enthusiastic about leaving your mark on a finance department and supporting senior leaders in their strategic decisions.
