Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all on-site mechanical construction activities Develop and execute construction methodologies, schedules, and sequencing strategies Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, CSA, and other project disciplines Manage subcontractors, site personnel, and project resources effectively Ensure full compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems Monitor progress against programme milestones and budget targets Proactively identify and resolve technical and construction challenges Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior project stakeholders Contribute to project reporting, risk management, and mitigation activities
Requirements & Qualifications
Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Significant experience in mechanical construction management on large-scale projects Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, piping, and mechanical building services systems Demonstrated leadership and team management experience Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities In-depth understanding of construction safety regulations and quality standards
Desirable Experience
Background in mission-critical, data centre, pharmaceutical, or industrial projects Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards professional accreditation Experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle, from construction to final handover
