Job description
As a PMO / Delivery Manager, you will work within the Information Systems (IS) department in direct support of the IS Transformation Program and the CIO Office.
You contribute to the achievement of the IS Development Initiatives prioritised by the ExCom in the annual IAB.
You will report to the IS Transformation Program Manager and work closely with:
1. IS domain managers,
2. project managers and delivery leads,
3. external partners,
4. Business stakeholders.
5. The CIO office and the PMO IS
Your role combines responsibilities for delivery management, cross-functional coordination and PMO governance, in order to ensure the consistency, delivery, control and overall performance of strategic IS initiatives.
Your main responsibilities
Management of the delivery of IS initiatives
1. Support the operational implementation of ExCom's priorities into concrete IS initiatives and projects, with clear scopes, aligned with the various stakeholders in the Business and IS
2. Ensure the overall management of the delivery of critical IS development initiatives (scope, planning, dependencies, risks, capacities)
3. Ensure proper synchronization between critical projects and the run activities impacted by these projects
4. Monitor the progress of deliverables, identify alerts and propose corrective actions in the event of drift
Responsibilities at the PMO / Governance level
1. Support PMs and the CIO Office in the evaluation of prioritized requests in terms of value, impacts, dependencies and delivery capacity
2. Coordinate for critical projects the planning of IS resources (internal and external) in conjunction with the domain managers
3. Support the PMs of critical projects, as needed, in the identification of potential blocking points in the implementation of projects, in the search for solutions with IS management
4. If necessary, support departments and projects in the application of specific key management processes such as Sourcing & Procurement management, Vendor management, Scope management, Stakeholder management, Risk management, Planning management, Budget management etc.
5. Ensure the qualitative reporting of PM's to IS management and governance bodies (Boards, SteerCo, ExCom, program committees)
Continuous improvement and performance
1. Contribute to the alignment of project practices (methodologies, standards, tools) within the IS department
2. Capitalise on feedback on critical projects and support the PMO Office in the proposal and implementation of measures to improve the application of project methodologies in force within the SI
3. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between IS teams, external partners and business lines
4. Act as a PMO/Delivery reference point for critical and structuring initiatives
