About the role
As a Field Clinical Specialist in Cardiac Rhythm Management at Boston Scientific you will be in the forefront of medical innovation.
You will be providing high-end technical and clinical support in the cathlab or operating room. Introduce and train internal and external stakeholders on the full suite of Boston Scientific products and services. And you will collaborate in a close relationship with our dynamic Sales, Electrophysiology and management team to effectively develop and implement the product and business strategy for the territory and ensure that objectives are met in a precise and competent manner.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide expert technical and clinical support on the full CRM and CDx portfolio: Pacemakers, Defibrillators, Resynchronization Therapy, Implantable Loop Recorders
2. Launching Boston Scientific’s newest technologies and optimizing use of existing technologies
3. Act as the primary clinical/technical contact together with the account manager in your territory, offering on-site and remote support.
4. Educating customers on optimal product and service use of Boston Scientific products
5. Continuous education of internal and external stakeholders
6. Engaging customers from a clinical and technical perspective by having high level professional interactions
7. Set up multi-disciplinary and long term projects (educational, technical, clinical)
8. Build long term strong relationships with customers
9. Actively contribute to the agreed strategy in collaboration with the full team
10. Identifies opportunities to drive account growth through spending time with clinicians and asking questions to uncover needs and challenges
11. Proactively builds knowledge of the market you operate in, the territory or region, and how it impacts customers
12. Builds and maintains insight into competitor products in own area of expertise, advising customers appropriately
13. Contribute actively to the account planning with the account manager
Required skills and competencies
14. 3-5 years of medical device support experience
15. Have a physiotherapy or sport or nursing degree with cardiac specialization and a passion for cardiology/electrophysiology or Biomedical, Bio engineering, Biomedical Engineer
16. Native French and English required
17. Analytical, technical, proactive, and problem-solving oriented
18. Lifelong learning
19. Experience in the EP-, cathlab or operating room

23. Driver’s license in good standing
24. Extensive travelling by car in Belgium and occasional international travel
25. Flexibility in working hours ( daily changing agenda)
Preferred skills and competencies
26. Proven track record in Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices and/or in Electrophysiology
27. Strong clinical experience in a hospital setting
28. 5+ years of clinical experience in cardiology/electrophysiology or the medical device industry

Responsabilités principales
29. Fournir un support technique et clinique expert sur l’ensemble du portefeuille CRM et CDx : stimulateurs cardiaques, défibrillateurs, thérapie de resynchronisation, moniteur cardiaque implantable.
30. Lancer les nouvelles technologies Boston Scientific et optimiser l’utilisation des technologies existantes.
31. Agir comme contact clinique/technique principal avec le responsable de compte sur votre territoire, en assurant un support sur site et à distance.
32. Former les clients à l’utilisation optimale des produits et services Boston Scientific.
33. Assurer une formation continue des parties prenantes internes et externes.
34. Interagir avec les clients sur des aspects cliniques et techniques à un niveau professionnel élevé.
35. Mettre en place des projets multidisciplinaires et à long terme (éducatifs, techniques, cliniques).
36. Construire des relations solides et durables avec les clients.
37. Contribuer activement à la stratégie définie en collaboration avec l’ensemble de l’équipe.
38. Identifier des opportunités de croissance en passant du temps avec les cliniciens et en analysant leurs besoins et défis.
39. Développer une connaissance approfondie du marché, du territoire ou de la région, et de leur impact sur les clients.
40. Maintenir une compréhension des produits concurrents dans votre domaine d’expertise et conseiller les clients de manière appropriée.
41. Contribuer à la planification des comptes avec le responsable de compte.
Compétences et qualifications requises
42. 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en support de dispositifs médicaux
43. Diplôme en sciences de la santé (kinésithérapie, éducation physique, soins infirmiers) ou également biomédical, bio‑ingénierie, ingénierie biomédicale
44. Affinité particulière pour la cardiologie/électrophysiologie
45. Niveau langue maternelle en français et bonnes connaissances en anglais
46. Profil analytique, technique, proactif et orienté résolution de problèmes
47. Volonté d’apprentissage continu
48. Expérience en électrophysiologie, cathlab ou bloc opératoire
49. Excellentes compétences en communication

52. Permis de conduire en règle
53. Déplacements quotidiens en Belgique et Luxembourget voyages internationaux occasionnels

Compétences et qualifications souhaitées
55. Expérience confirmée en dispositifs cardiaques implantables et/ou en électrophysiologie
56. Solide expérience clinique en milieu hospitalier
57. Plus de 5 ans d’expérience clinique en cardiologie/électrophysiologie ou dans l’industrie des dispositifs médicaux
