You will explore, evaluate, and optimize both new and existing suppliers and products, always aiming to build an efficient and resilient supply chain. Your decisions will be guided by the six pillars of purchasing excellence—total cost, quality, logistics, product and process development, contracting, and sustainability. In this role, you will develop a robust purchasing strategy that aligns with divisional objectives and contribute actively to the digital transformation of our supply chain.Your responsibilities include participating in projects for both existing and newly developed compressor elements, ensuring they remain aligned with project budgets and timelines. You will identify and evaluate potential new suppliers by assessing their commercial, technical, and supply chain capabilities in accordance with the Atlas Copco Business Code of Practice. In addition, you will lead negotiations with current suppliers to renew existing contracts and establish new agreements with selected partners.A key part of your role is to drive cost-saving and availability initiatives by performing market research, benchmarking, and in-depth analyses to identify opportunities for added value while carefully assessing supplier risks.
