Methods & Operations Engineer
Responsibilities
In this role, you play a central part in structuring and formalizing manufacturing knowledge. Your primary focus is the creation and maintenance of clear, reliable operational documentation — in a context of ongoing industrial development and facility evolution. The role demands strong process comprehension, a structured mindset, and a genuine commitment to safety.
Key responsibilities
* Draft, structure, and update operational procedures destined for production floor teams, ensuring clarity and practical usability
* Cover a broad range of manufacturing processes across multiple production environments and technical disciplines
* Tailor the level of detail and language to a non-specialist audience, without compromising on rigor or accuracy
* Manage documents through their full lifecycle — from initial drafting to post-commissioning revisions and operator feedback integration
* Gather information autonomously through field visits, technical exchanges, and review of existing documentation
* Work cross-functionally with Production, Maintenance, Safety, and Methods teams on a daily basis
* Embed safety requirements — including those specific to sensitive industrial environments — into every document produced
* Organize and manage your own workload in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
Profile
* You hold an Engineering degree
* You have 10 years of experience in an industrial setting, ideally within a methods or process-oriented function
* Your technical writing skills in French are excellent. English is a plus, but not a prerequisite
* You are structured, autonomous, and comfortable navigating complex operational environments
* You naturally engage with field teams, ask the right questions, and translate technical reality into clear, actionable documentation
* Familiarity with risk-sensitive industrial environments is a strong asset
