I am recruiting for a well-established research and development centre focused on advanced communication systems. As part of their continued growth in Europe, they are seeking a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join their highly skilled team.
As a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer, you will contribute to the full development cycle of complex analog, mixed signal and RF blocks in advanced CMOS or SOI technologies. This includes design, simulation, layout supervision, and hands-on testing. You will be expected to evaluate different circuit topologies, select the most suitable architecture, and fine-tune parameters to meet performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and simulate high-performance analog, RF or mm-wave integrated circuits
* Verify and debug silicon performance against simulation through accurate modelling and measurements
* Support integration of analog and mixed signal IPs into larger system-on-chip solutions
* Collaborate with layout, digital, and system teams during development and validation
Requirements:
* A strong PhD in a related field
* Proven track record in analog or RF CMOS design with silicon measurement results
* Proficiency with Cadence tools (Spectre, Virtuoso) and familiarity with layout extraction and modelling techniques
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
* Willingness to relocate to the Leuven area
This role is based in Leuven, Belgium, with flexible remote options during the onboarding phase.
