Responsibilities
Define target architecture for all information systems at the enterprise level, and lead the development of an implementation plan for the enterprise architecture based on business strategy and requirements.
Support and guide technology investment decisions by understanding the business's economic and financial levers susceptible to digital transformation. Design and construct future- and current-state business models to practically apply new and emerging technologies to drive them.
Scan the world for major disruptive technology and nontechnology trends (trendspotting) that affect business. Provide practical advice and best practices to overcome these challenges and successfully deliver the expected business outcomes.
Manage the knowledge of the Enterprise information systems in a structured way.
Collaborate with business leaders, IT leaders, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into architectural requirements.
Define and maintain the Target Architecture for specific architecture domains (Business Architecture, Data Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, Application Architecture, Security Architecture). Create comprehensive blueprints for current and future states of IT Architecture. Consolidate Target Architecture in the IT Master Plan and Architecture Policies, Standards and Guidelines.
Work closely with the Solution and Domain Architect(s) to build a joined view of the IT Architecture that will fulfil the business needs and IT objectives.
Enforce Architecture rules and policies in a solution design. Contribute to a project’s solution design with close collaboration with major stakeholders.
Maintain contact with the Orange Group’s Architecture team and ensure compliance with Orange Group policies and rules.
Look at technology and market trends that may impact the company. Take a leading role in identifying opportunities to introduce new technologies in the company’s landscape.
Define the right governance for maintaining the Enterprise Architecture information in an appropriate enterprise architecture tool.
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience and a master’s degree in computer science, information systems, enterprise architecture or a related field.
Broad IT knowledge, understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, data management and security.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex systems.
Ability to synthesise an analysis in a SWOT.
Ability to model IT Architecture with ArchiMate (Enterprise Architecture Modeling Language, a standard defined by the Open Group).
Knowledge of TOGAF would be a plus.
General understanding of the telecommunications business would be a plus.
Leadership skills to guide and influence IT and business teams.
Good communication and presentation skills to convey complex concepts clearly.
Assertiveness and resilience.
Fluent in English and French.
