Description de l'offre

Company

Customs4trade (C4T), headquartered in Mechelen, Belgium, is a pioneering scale-up that simplifies customs and trade compliance through smart automation. Founded in 2004, C4T developed CAS (Customs Accounting System), an innovative software platform that transforms how companies manage customs processes across Europe. What started as a response to growing complexity in international trade has now become a leading cloud-based solution, designed to ensure compliance, reduce costs, and keep goods moving efficiently across borders.

CAS is a unique end-to-end customs compliance solution that automates the entire process—from classification and declaration to audit and reporting—ensuring accuracy and real-time visibility. The software is continuously evolving, with strategic additions like modules for Excise and Special Procedures, and is currently expanding to support more countries and jurisdictions.

Since its inception, C4T has grown to a team of over 60 employees, with a turnover of €6.7 million and more than 70 active clients, including major international brands such as Honda, Isuzu, Lotus, Clarebout, Sioen, Reynaers Aluminium and Halfords. This customer base spans industries from automotive to food and retail, proving the broad applicability and reliability of CAS.

As a company, C4T values agility, innovation, and trust. These principles are embedded in the way the organization operates—from its agile strategy planning to its focus on regulatory excellence and customer partnership. With a dedicated focus on onboarding new countries and expanding excise capabilities, C4T continues to scale its offering to meet the complex and ever-changing landscape of European trade regulations.

In a market shared with players like AEB and Conex, C4T distinguishes itself by offering one of the only SaaS platforms designed specifically to centralize and automate multi-country customs compliance in real time. With its go-getter mindset and forward-thinking vision, C4T is shaping the future of customs and trade management across Europe and beyond.

Services

C4T’s flagship product, CAS (Customs Automation System), is a cloud-based software solution that streamlines customs and trade compliance for companies operating across multiple EU countries. The platform is designed as a single point of control, enabling businesses to automate, centralize, and standardize their customs processes within one scalable system.

C4T offers the following key services through CAS:

1. Automated Customs Declarations

CAS automates the generation and submission of customs declarations in line with national and EU regulations. By integrating with ERP and TMS systems, it ensures that declarations are accurate, compliant, and processed in real time, minimizing delays at borders.

2. Multi-Country Compliance

One of CAS’s most powerful features is its ability to handle customs compliance across multiple jurisdictions from a single platform. Companies can expand their operations in new EU countries without needing separate solutions or manual processes for each location.

3. Excise Management

With the Excise module, businesses can manage the complex requirements surrounding excisable goods such as alcohol, tobacco, and energy products. CAS simplifies the reporting and ensures compliance with the latest excise duty regulations.

4. Special Procedures

The Special Procedures module supports regimes like inward processing, outward processing, and customs warehousing. CAS provides the necessary audit trails and reports to meet compliance obligations while optimizing duty savings.

5. Centralized Customs Data & Audit Trails

CAS consolidates customs data across the supply chain, creating a central repository for reporting, audit, and control. With built-in dashboards and analytics, businesses gain real-time insights into their customs operations.

6. ERP Integration & Automation

Designed for seamless integration with enterprise systems such as SAP or Oracle, CAS connects customs operations directly to your business processes. This reduces manual work, increases efficiency, and enhances data accuracy across departments.

These services are especially valuable in a business-to-business environment because they:

* Reduce operational costs through process automation and error reduction
* Ensure compliance with local and EU-level customs regulation
* Enable scalability by supporting multi-country expansion from one platform
* Increase transparency through centralized reporting and audit-ready data

As regulatory environments evolve and global trade becomes increasingly complex, C4T is committed to innovation and continuous improvement of CAS—empowering companies to turn customs compliance into a competitive advantage.
