As the Lead Analyst Source & Direct Procurement, IMFT, you will shape the future of finance within Innovative Medicine and make a direct impact on patient outcomes while driving operational excellence. You will play a key role in transforming finance processes for direct procurement and contract manufacturing with internal and external parties, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of innovation and agility.
Key interactions
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Establish strong relationships with business partners, finance teams, and technology owners to ensure detailed process mapping, prepare key decisions related to process design, performance, and technology enablement. Foster collaboration with internal and external partners and leverage industry best practices to drive finance transformation. Collaborate across regions, functions, and programs for a global mindset and alignment. Drive integration of finance transformation with other functions (e.g., Supply Chain, Source, JJT, FS&T, HR) to ensure cohesive execution across all workstreams. Provide leadership to business partners, driving accountability and alignment to deliver on strategic initiatives.
You Will Be Responsible For
* Strategic Process Mapping & Transformation: Perform end‑to‑end process mapping of the current direct procurement and contract manufacturing processes, identifying pain points and inefficiencies. Drive initiatives to standardize, harmonize, and automate processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
* Continuous Improvement & Optimization: Act as a core business user and advocate for ongoing process refinement. Identify opportunities for streamlining the direct procurement and sub‑contracting process, leveraging best practices and technological advancements to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence.
* Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships across finance, source, supply chain, manufacturing, and other relevant functions. Ensure effective communication and alignment of transformation initiatives, facilitating a collaborative approach to process innovation.
* Value‑Driven Prioritization: Assess and prioritize transformation opportunities based on their potential to generate maximum value, continually evaluating the end‑to‑end direct procurement and sub‑contracting process to identify high‑impact projects aligned with organizational strategic goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
* University/bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
* Experience in finance roles.
* Experience with direct procurement and/or sub‑contracting processes.
* Prior experience and familiarity with finance transformation initiatives.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a benefit.

Pay Range
Primary posting location: €63 300.00 – €101 315.00.
Belgium: €72 500 – €115 230.

In addition to base pay, we offer an annual bonus with a set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade/location, based on the employees’ and company’s performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
