IT Solution Architect
Your Role:
The Solution Architect is an IT professional with strong emphasis on applications, data and technology architectures and a thorough understanding of the Line of Business (Customer & Distribution) being supported. The Solution Architect outlines transversal solutions across functional domains then monitors their implementation (via design authority meetings). The Solution Architect reports directly to the Enterprise Architect of the domain and works in close tandem with Business Architects and Delivery Managers.
As Solution Architect in the Architecture team, you will be responsible for:
Contributing to the target architecture roadmap of the domain
Defining the best solution considering target architecture, business KPIs and project constraints (planning, budget, security, NFRs, etc.)
You reuse existing assets and creating reusable assets when it's possible
For each functionality, you create the solution architecture which contain application components, integration (services, API, events and file), application cooperation, information and Public Cloud (AWS/Azure) usage views, formalized using Archimate.
You ensure to connect technology with measurable business value
You collaborate with the other solution architects, product team (dev and ops engineers) to ensure e2e alignment on the solution
You take ownership of non-functional requirements specification.
You communicate the solution and make sure stakeholders and management understand it (to the detail necessary).
You collaborate with the enterprise architects for strategic direction, and you contribute in the implementation of the target architecture roadmap.
You challenge and validate/define the scope to ensure that business can take the right decisions for the organization.
You ensure that initiatives remain aligned with the initial solution architecture to ensure the right result is obtained for the organization.
You support the business in business process digitization (challenge, simplify…) by proposing innovative solutions.
Being a sparing partner of lead functional and technical engineers
The ongoing transformation project is focusing on:
Building transversal customer, broker and employee journeys
Creating a sustainable architecture that will provide the necessary capabilities supporting all the Customer & Distribution use-cases
Maximizing the reusability of building blocks to further extend the usage of capabilities to future use-cases
Providing user-friendly tools to end-users to maximize the quality of service towards brokers and customers
Leveraging cloud capabilities to maximize flexibility and monitor infrastructure cost (FinOps)
Your Profile
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Fluent in French/English or Dutch/English
Experience in customer processes in the insurance domain is an asset
Able to work in an Agile environment
Quick learner
Good at networking and influencing
Result driven
Very good knowledge of IT market trends and technology evolutions
Flexible, pro-active, structured and quality oriented
