KEMIN ANIMAL NUTRITION AND HEALTH – EMENA is searching Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Herentals, Belgium.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Support Engineer to join our Kemin Application Solutions (KAS) team. This team is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of product application systems and services offered to our customers. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the safety, reliability, and quality of automated dosing processes.

Responsibilities
Technical Support & Engineering
1. Provide day-to-day technical support to Field Service Engineers
2. Troubleshoot and repair systems and components, including warranty and trial units
3. Assist in manufacturing and functional testing of applicators prior to shipment
4. Support the design, configuration, and optimization of industrial processes
5. Contribute to the development of P&IDs, electrical schematics, user manuals, and installation guides
6. Participate in training and development of KAS team members
7. Monitor and report competitor activities
8. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment
Customer Focus
9. Minimize applicator downtime through effective support
10. Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing technical assistance
11. Prepare detailed documentation outlining technical solutions and pricing
12. Respond to customer and Sales Team inquiries with technical expertise
13. Recommend suitable solutions based on customer needs and product capabilities
14. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using CMMS software
Continuous Improvement
15. Stay informed about new products, features, and industry trends
16. Contribute to the development of new dosing systems and special-purpose applications
17. Design and implement quality control procedures and risk assessments
18. Conduct and report on quality checks of goods and materials
Qualifications
Education Requirements
19. Bachelor’s degree in Electro-mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
20. Solid academic background in one or more of the following areas:Electro-mechanical systemsMeasurement and control technologyProcessing engineering
Core Competencies and Skills
21. Strong ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical schematics
22. Proven experience in troubleshooting equipment and conducting system-level tests
23. Highly organized with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving
24. Detail-oriented and capable of managing complex tasks independently or within a team
25. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English
26. Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Preferred Experience and Attributes
27. Practical experience in plant automation or feed mill process technology
28. Familiarity with liquid dosing systems and their operational requirements
29. Strong analytical thinking and sound decision-making capabilities
