Payroll and Benefits Manager
As a Payroll and Benefits Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll and benefits administration for our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include managing end-to-end payroll and benefits for multiple business groups in Belgium, collecting and processing monthly payroll data in Workday and eBlox, handling payroll for expatriates in collaboration with external tax advisors and Rewards team, conducting 4-eyes checks on payroll input completed by peers, providing social documents to employees, coordinating with insurance providers for coverage during leaves, and working closely with the team to ensure timely payroll task completion.
Employee Support and Liaison
You will act as a point of contact for payroll, benefits, and social law-related questions, keep intranet information updated for employee reference, and participate in ad-hoc HR projects such as early retirement programs, works council requests.
Social Legislation Expertise
With your expertise in payroll and social legislation, you will provide guidance on payroll and social legislation, liaise with relevant authorities, stay informed about legal updates, ensure compliance, and recommend improvements to align with new or changing legislation.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced professional with at least 10 years of experience in payroll, consulting, or analysis. You should be fluent in French or Dutch with good knowledge of the other, have excellent English skills, mandatory knowledge of eBlox, solid understanding of Belgian employment law, especially JC200, and experience with Workday is a plus. Strong analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach, independent, proactive, and eager to learn, excellent communication and time management skills, high levels of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality, detail-oriented with a customer service mindset and stress resilience are essential for this role.
