As a (Junior) Business Controller, you play a key role in supporting the company's financial decision-making. Reporting directly to the Controlling Manager, you are responsible for analyzing data, preparing reports, and identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
* Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making
* Develop, monitor, and challenge budgets and forecasts
* Support financial planning and performance tracking
* Identify and propose process improvements and cost efficiencies
* Act as a business partner to internal departments, providing financial insights and advice
* Collaborate closely with operational teams to align business and financial objectives
* Assist with internal and external audits
* Report variances and provide clear recommendations to management
* A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's)
* Fluency in Dutch and/or French, and strong command of English (spoken and written)
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* A proactive and hands-on attitude
* Good knowledge of Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams
* Interest in developing a career in controlling within an international environment
