Join our rapidly growing VAT controversy team, providing comprehensive support to clients navigating disputes with the Belgian VAT authorities.
Advise and assist clients on a wide range of VAT matters, both domestic and international, focusing on the VAT implications of specific structures and transactions.
Collaborate on assignments alongside tax experts from various member firms within Deloitte’s international network.
Work in a multidisciplinary environment, partnering with colleagues across the Tax and Legal practice as well as other Deloitte business units.
Contribute to delivering exceptional client service in line with Deloitte’s high-quality standards, together with your client service team.
Play an active role in mentoring and guiding fellow tax professionals.
Let’s talk about you
You hold a law degree, ideally complemented by a postgraduate qualification in tax.
You bring 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role—whether at a law firm or consulting practice—demonstrating strong technical expertise, excellent writing skills, and commercial acumen.
You have a good command of English and either Dutch or French.
With Indirect Tax becoming many governments' preferred method of revenue raising, and evermore-complicated regulations focused on combatting fraud, it is more critical than ever to manage indirect tax compliance and cash flows. Our Belgium Indirect Tax Practice has over 90 indirect tax experts who are well informed and understand the nuances of regulations, the importance of deep industry knowledge and the growing role of technology experience.
