Are you a proactive leader passionate about food safety, hygiene, and compliance? We are looking for a Food Safety Manager to oversee food safety and environmental compliance across our malting and silo operations. You will lead hygiene teams, drive audit readiness, and promote a strong food safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead, coach, and mentor 4 hygiene teams (+/- 30 employees), set goals, and ensure smooth workflows.
2. Ensure sanitation, hygiene, and pest control programs meet all standards.
3. Manage internal and external audits, corrective actions, and follow-up.
4. Maintain food safety records and coordinate regulatory and customer audits.
5. Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions.
6. Drive food safety culture through training and collaboration with operations, maintenance, and quality teams.
7. Oversee environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
Master recherché
8. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Microbiology, Food Science, or related field.
9. Knowledge of HACCP, environmental regulations, and food safety systems (e.g., Entropy).
10. Experience in food safety, quality assurance, or environmental compliance within food manufacturing.
11. Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
12. Fluent in Dutch and English.
