ELECTRONIC DESIGN ENGINEER - BRUSSELS REGION (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITIONWe're currently recruiting for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Design Engineer to join an aerospace engineering team, contributing to the design and development of advanced electronic and avionics systems used in aircraft, spacecraft, and defense platforms.In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of electronic hardware development, from initial concept and requirements capture through design, analysis, prototyping, testing, qualification, and in-service support.You will work on mission-critical, safety-sensitive systems where performance, reliability, and compliance are paramount. This includes designing robust analog and digital circuits capable of operating in harsh environments such as extreme temperatures, vibration, altitude, and electromagnetic interference.You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including systems, software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless integration of electronic subsystems into larger aerospace platforms.Responsibilities:Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits for aerospace systemsCreate schematics, PCB layouts, and supporting documentationPerform circuit simulation, analysis, and verificationConduct hardware testing, debugging, and validation under environmental conditions (temperature, vibration, EMI/EMC)Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, software, and systems engineersEnsure designs meet aerospace standards such as DO-254, DO-160, and relevant safety regulationsSupport prototype builds, integration, and system-level testingParticipate in design reviews and provide technical inputMaintain configuration control and documentation throughout the product lifecycleRequirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience in electronic hardware design (typically 3+ years for mid-level roles)Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principlesExperience with PCB design tools (e.G., Altium, Cadence, or similar)Familiarity with simulation tools (e.G., SPICE)Understanding of aerospace or safety-critical design standardsAbility to troubleshoot and debug complex electronic systemsAttention to detail and commitment to qualityStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet project deadlinesDocumentation and technical reporting proficiencyThe Offer:A permanent, full-time employment contractA salary & benefits package commensurate with experiencePlease send over your CV to tom.walker@vividresourcing.com or call me on +32 (0) 3 318 00 74.
