• HOW TO APPLY?

Hauptaufgaben
As Foreign Language Teacher, you will be an English immersion primary school teacher for students in elementary school, aged from 5 to 11 years old.
You will perform the following duties:
- Teach pupils the basic skills of understanding and speaking the foreign language.
- Prepare teaching materials, conduct lessons and examinations.
- Give direct instruction to pupils concerning host nation culture and activities.
- Participate in the planning and conducting of field trips to museums, theaters, schools, etc.
- Plan and participate in week long overnight study trips to outdoor educational facilities in the host country.
- Participate in meeting with school principal, colleagues and parents.

• PROFILE
Successful completion of a teacher degree of "Bachelier d'instituteur(trice) primaire"/ "Master en enseignement section 2" AND either:
- a High Secondary School diploma or a Bachelor degree or a Master degree issued in English (cursus was given in English)
- a Master degree in modern languages (English)
- a Master degree in Translation or interpretation
- an "Enseignement section 4" in English
- a certificate issued by Travaillerpour.be (previously SELOR) in English with level C1 at least
- a certificate issued by Cambridge Assessment English or by the British Council with level C1 at least
- the "certificat de connaissance approfondie d'une langue d'enseignement en immersion (CCALI)" issued by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA's)
Qualifying for the BA-06:
- Perfect knowledge of the English language
- Ability to prepare and develop lessons in a most practicable and comprehensible manner to achieve best results.
- Ability to plan and develop cultural activities.

The Civilian HR Service Center (CHRSC) will review each application and will refer candidates to the management official who will make the final selection. The SELECTEE will:
