Masentó are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to join a team supporting Material Master governance in an S/4HANA environment. This is a freelance position, an initial 3-month engagement with a hybrid working model (2 days in South Brussels, 1 day Antwerp and 2 days remote) Core SAP MM Expertise Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Material Master (MM) Deep understanding of material types, views, field control, and cross-module dependencies End-to-end process knowledge of MM01 / MM02 / MM03 Ability to perform system actions independently and accurately Strong documentation discipline (functional specs, data definitions, process flows) Material Master Governance & MDG-M Experience with SAP MDG-M (Material Master Governance) is a strong plus Hands-on knowledge of MDG change requests, workflows, and approvals Familiarity with mass change frameworks in MDG Understanding of data quality rules, validations, and governance models Ability to manage and work through a backlog of master data–related tasks Central Team & Key User Support Part of a central technical/functional expertise team Act as a subject-matter expert to: Guide and support key users Provide functional escalation and best-practice guidance Execute complex or sensitive master data changes Strong collaboration with business, IT, and governance teams
