A major player in the pharmaceutical industry is launching a significant investment project at its key production and research site in
Braine l'Alleud, Belgium
. We are seeking a skilled Procurement Project Manager to drive the success of this strategic initiative.
This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of procurement activities for critical industrial equipment and services, working in close collaboration with expert project and procurement teams to achieve ambitious goals.
Your Impact & Responsibilities:
As a key member of the project team, you will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for major capital investments. Your mission will include:
* Strategic Sourcing:
You will prepare and present sourcing strategies at kick-off meetings and lead procurement package activities in collaboration with the project team.
* Supplier Management & Negotiation:
You will manage the full RFI/RFQ process, conduct commercial analysis of bids to optimize total value, and negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers.
* Contractual Excellence:
In partnership with the legal department, you will establish solid contractual agreements that protect the company's interests. You will also manage the supplier's commercial and contractual relationship post-award, handling scope changes and contract amendments.
* Sustainable & Ethical Procurement:
A core part of your role will be to integrate sustainability criteria into sourcing decisions, ensuring purchases have the lowest possible environmental footprint and a positive social impact.
* Project Governance & Reporting:
You will track savings, communicate progress to project leads, lead regular governance calls with main suppliers, and report package status to project leadership.

We are searching for a professional with exceptional accuracy and a talent for precision. To succeed, you must bring:
* Required Experience:
A proven successful track record on CAPEX projects (with budgets up to 50M€) and solid experience in procurement and contract negotiation.
* Education:
A Bachelor's Degree is required. A Master's Degree is considered a plus.
* Essential Skills:
* Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong team collaboration.
* Comfort working in a technical and industrial environment, with an affinity for industrial processes and equipment.
* The ability to analyze and interpret contractual and technical documents.
