Tasks and Qualifications:
Core Responsibilities
6. Partner with Sales as a technical expert to define customer needs and develop value-driven automation solutions.
7. Analyze and interpret customer requirements to design tailored intralogistics concepts that align with operational and strategic goals.
8. Develop technically and economically feasible solutions, leveraging KION and third-party technologies to achieve the best possible customer outcome.
9. Prepare and validate business cases, including technical design, cost estimation, and timeline assessment.
10. Engage directly with customers, representing the technical solution with clarity and confidence during presentations and discussions.
11. Collaborate across interfaces - Sales, Realization, Product Management, Service, and R&D teams - to ensure alignment and smooth handovers.
12. Contribute to standardization and best practices, improving design quality, efficiency, and scalability.
13. Provide feedback and market insights to strengthen KION’s solution portfolio and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
14. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Automation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
15. Strong analytical and conceptual skills, balancing technical depth and commercial awareness.
16. Proven ability to work closely with customers and Sales in a solution-oriented and consultative way.
17. Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex concepts into clear value propositions.
18. Customer-focused, pragmatic, and collaborative mindset, with strong ownership and accountability.
19. Proficiency with solution design and simulation tools is an advantage.
