Your Tasks
* Supervise a team of 2 AP/AR accountants while progressively taking on leadership of a team of 7.
* Oversee full-cycle general accounting in line with BE GAAP, ensuring accurate and timely closings (IFRS knowledge is a plus)
* Act as the central point of contact for payroll accounting, coordinating with HR and payroll providers to correctly book salaries, social contributions, withholding taxes, meal vouchers, warrants, and net benefits
* Manage periodic VAT returns, intra-community listings, VAT reconciliations, and serve as the go-to person during tax and VAT audits
* Prepare annual financial statements, handle corporate tax filings, and coordinate the full external audit process
* Play an active role in the SAP migration project, contributing to setup, testing, and implementation
Your Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
* Minimum 6 years’ experience in Accounting
* You must have experience using SAP
* Fluent in Dutch and English. French is a strong asset.
