About the Role
We're looking for a
Dutch-speaking Electrical Engineer
to join our client's team working on cutting-edge
solar and wind energy projects
across Belgium. You'll be responsible for the
design, coordination, and implementation
of electrical systems within renewable installations, contributing directly to Belgium's
energy transition
.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop
electrical systems
for solar parks, wind turbines, and hybrid renewable energy solutions.
* Prepare and review
single-line diagrams (SLDs)
,
cable calculations
, and
protection studies
.
* Ensure compliance with
local grid codes, IEC standards
, and project-specific safety requirements.
* Support
installation, commissioning
, and
testing
of renewable systems.
* Collaborate with
civil, automation, and project engineering teams
to ensure technical accuracy and on-time delivery.
* Communicate effectively with
local DSOs/TSOs
and contractors in Dutch.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Electrical Engineering
,
Electromechanics
, or equivalent.
* Minimum
3–5 years' experience
in
renewable energy projects
(solar PV, wind, or hybrid systems).
* Proficiency with
AutoCAD
,
EPLAN
, or similar electrical design tools.
* Knowledge of
MV/LV/HV systems
,
inverters
,
transformers
, and
protection coordination
.
* Excellent command of
Dutch
(spoken and written); English is a plus.
* Strong analytical mindset, independence, and problem-solving skills.
