Early clinical strategy lead – rheumatology

SUMMARY

Exciting opportunity with a global biotech organisation looking for a senior clinical leader to shape early development strategy within Rheumatology.

This is a high-impact, global role where you’ll lead endpoint design, study strategy, and early-phase development (up to Phase III)—working across a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead early development strategy for a Rheumatology indication
• Define and drive endpoint strategy and study design across clinical programs
• Partner cross-functionally to translate science into execution-ready development plans
• Support global regulatory strategy and interactions
• Align stakeholders across regions to drive timely program progression
• Act as a clinical expert within a matrix, influencing key strategic decisions

QUALIFICATIONS

• MD / Physician with specialisation in Rheumatology
• ~10+ years in clinical development within pharma/biotech
• Strong experience in early-phase strategy and endpoint design (up to Phase III)
• Proven exposure to global development and regulatory environments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrix organisation
