The legal counsel, Senior Legal Counsel or Managing Counsel, will be part of Tesla's EMEA legal team working on legal matters in our western Europe region, ranging from sales, service and marketing to commercial matters, consumer protection and regulatory matters in connection with Tesla's product lines. The focus for this role is to be the trusted advisor for the business and solve problems in a hands‑on manner as well as manage the outside counsel portfolio.

Please note that this role can be based in Amsterdam or Brussels and we are advertising in these countries for one role.
What You'll Do
Be a legal trusted advisor for all Tesla business units in the western European region
Support all sales and services initiatives (B2C and B2B), including drafting and reviewing terms and conditions, financial services, as well as all related legal matters
Provide legal advice for marketing of products, the Tesla website and other customer communications
Draft and review contracts related to Tesla real estate for showrooms and service centers
Draft and review contracts related to Tesla's fast growing Supercharger business, as well as all related legal matters
Manage regulatory matters relating to Tesla products in your regions, build strong relationships with key regulators
Liaise regularly with your peers in EMEA, the EMEA Litigation team as well as all relevant global team members and stakeholders
What You'll Bring
You are a qualified lawyer in one of our western European countries i.e. Netherlands, Belgium or Luxembourg (please note the role cannot be based in Luxembourg, you will need to be based in Amsterdam or Brussels), with experience at a law firm and/or in‑house corporate international environment. Ideally with a background in being a country/regional lawyer, with an exceptional ability to handle a high workload of complex legal matters at the same time
You are a team player with the ability to proactively identify problems, xphnsxz drive projects, and execute pragmatic/creative legal and business solutions on a timely basis
You inspire trust, forge relationships quickly with key stakeholders at all levels, and earn the confidence and cooperation of your business partners
You work well both autonomously, collaboratively and transparently, and are effective at juggling and prioritizing competing tasks in a fast‑paced, challenging environment
You possess an entrepreneurial mindset, quick and flexible learner, with high standards, impeccable integrity and ethics, unquestionable good judgment, well‑honed analytical skills
You have excellent communication skills, with a business level to near native level fluency in English (written and spoken), an additional language from one of our western European countries would also be desirable
Some business travel will be required
