Role Overview
The Category Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies within the Patient Supply domain. This role plays a critical part in ensuring continuity of supply for essential therapies and services, while driving value creation and innovation across the procurement portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement end-to-end sourcing strategies for a defined category, ensuring quality, supply resilience, and cost optimization.
* Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve long-term value in quality, delivery, cost, and innovation.
* Monitor market trends, conduct benchmarking, and provide insights to influence category strategy and identify new opportunities.
* Manage the lifecycle of supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
* Embed risk management strategies into contracts and sourcing processes to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
* Champion sustainability and integrate environmental and social responsibility principles into procurement activities.

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field (Master’s preferred).
* Proven experience in procurement or category management within a global environment.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
