Role Overview The Electro-Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, integration, and maintenance of ERTMS Solutions hardware products, combining mechanical and electronic expertise. This role involves both office-based design and hands-on work in the workshop and on customer sites. Main Responsibilities Perform mechanical design and 3D modelling using Fusion 360, covering both 19-inch rack-mounted systems and portable enclosures (e.G. PeliCase-type). Provide mechanical and electronic/electrical support for ERTMS Solutionsproducts throughout their lifecycle (from design to field operation). Participate in electronic boards production (from PCB assembly, to mechanical integration) Participate in customer-site interventions for product installation, calibration, and technical investigations. Collaborate with electronics engineers to ensure proper mechanical-electronic integration. Read and interpret electronic schematics to design mechanical parts that interface correctly with PCBs and interface panels. Design interface panels, brackets, and mounting hardware for 19-inch racks and other mechanical assemblies. Produce technical documentation, manufacturing drawings, single-line diagrams, and assembly instructions. Contribute to continuous improvement of product design for robustness, ease of assembly, and serviceability. Required Skills and Competencies Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Electro-Mechanical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in Fusion 360 (or similar CAD tools) for 3D design and technical drawing generation. Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals and ability to read and interpret electronic schematics. Autonomy in finding electro-mechanical integration solutions, with an inventive and resourceful mindset. Ability to design mechanical integration for electronic modules and PeliCase-type enclosures. Strong hands-on skills in assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of industrial connectors and cabling. Understanding of environmental and mechanical testing standards. Willingness to travel occasionally for customer-site work in Europe and abroad. Good communication and teamwork skills. Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
