This combination of local presence and international scale is the foundation of long-term partnerships and successful projects.About the jobAs a Category Manager, you play a key role in developing and implementing the group-wide procurement strategy. You work closely with local entities and translate market insights into strategic decisions within your product category.You build and manage a strong supplier portfolio, negotiate framework agreements, and drive synergies and consistency across the group. You oversee the full supplier lifecycle, from selection and contracting to performance evaluation, while keeping a strong focus on cost efficiency, quality, and innovation.Alongside the strategic dimension, you remain closely involved in day-to-day operations. You are able to switch seamlessly between strategy and execution, supporting operational processes where needed to ensure that decisions are effectively implemented in practice.In addition, you contribute to the optimization of the product portfolio and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as supply chain, sales, and product management.In this position, you are part of the international procurement team and act as a key connector within the organization. You report directly to the Group Procurement Director and are given the autonomy to take initiative and continuously improve processes.Job requirementsYou have relevant experience in procurement or category management within HVAC-R products and bring an established network; You are proactive, work independently, and take ownership of your responsibilities; You thrive in an international environment and are willing to travel across Europe approximately 30% of your time; You have strongcommunication skills and are fluent in English; additional European languages (Spanish, German) are a plus; You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.What we offerThis role offers a high level of autonomy, allowing you to manage your own agenda and priorities.You can expect an attractive compensation package, with a gross monthly salary ranging from €5500 to €7000 (depending on experience) and a comprehensive package of fringe benefits.There is also the possibility to engage in this role on a contract basis.
