Purpose of the PositionThe Supply Chain Operations Coordinator plays a central role in supporting seamless order-to-delivery execution within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).This position acts as a key operational link between internal teams—Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics/Warehouse Operations, Finance, and 3PL partners —ensuring that master data, order flows, and documentation are accurate, timely, and aligned with business requirements.The focus is on internal customer service, operational problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination to support efficient logistics and supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities1. Master Data & Internal Customer SetupCreate and maintain internal and partner records in D365 (addresses, contact details, delivery terms, payment terms, tax settings, pricing, etc.).Ensure master data accuracy and compliance with internal controls.Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to resolve discrepancies or approval requirements.
2. Order Processing & Internal CoordinationEnter and manage sales orders in D365 according to internal standards and operational timelines.Validate orders for correctness (items, quantities, pricing, delivery instructions, requested dates).Monitor order progress and address issues such as inventory constraints, system exceptions, or workflow holds.Work proactively with Sales and Supply Chain to ensure orders align with available stock, forecasts, and operational priorities.
3. Logistics & Warehouse SupportGenerate and release pick tickets in D365 to support warehouse or 3PL picking, packing, and shipping activities.Serve as a liaison between internal supply chain teams and logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.Troubleshoot discrepancies between orders, inventory, and warehouse output.Support continuous improvement activities relating to logistics flows and system transactions.
4. Order Closure & DocumentationConfirm shipment completion and perform on-time order closure in D365.Ensure data accuracy for subsequent invoicing and financial processes.Maintain traceability of order documentation and operational records.
5. Internal Communication & Issue ResolutionAct as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Warehouse) on order-related questions.Communicate order status, delays, risks, or changes clearly, proactively, and professionally.Document issues, follow up on resolutions, and support root-cause analysis for repeating problems.
Role RequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field, a master's degree is an asset.Minimum 2+ years of experience in order management, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations.
Technical SkillsPreferably a previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations preferred).Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and 3PL platforms is a strong asset.
Soft Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of the order-to-cash and supply chain execution processes.High level of internal customer focus with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset.Ability to coordinate across functions (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, IT).Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.
