As a Project Engineer “Fire Safety & Sprinklers”, you are the point of contact for active and passive fire protection within various construction projects. You coordinate with our insurance advisor regarding fire safety in the projects and consult with different internal stakeholders.
About the Role
Additionally, you are responsible for executing sprinkler projects, from design through to final delivery (basic and detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover). Finally, you provide support to many colleagues within your team by integrating your expertise into various construction projects. You also contribute to improving the current fire safety standards.

Qualifications
* You have completed higher technical education (associate degree, industrial engineer, or civil engineer).
* You preferably have at least 1–5 years of relevant experience in the fire safety domain.

* Knowledge of the Belgian Royal Decree on basic standards for fire and explosion prevention.
* Basic knowledge of sprinkler systems.
* Knowledge of FM and NFPA guidelines is a plus.
