We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive Caeleste’s growth to the next level. If you thrive on spotting opportunities, building strong partnerships, and managing the sales funnel from start to finish - this role is for you.
Your main responsibilities as our new Business Development Manager include:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by engaging with potential customers and partners.
- Manage the full business development lifecycle from lead generation and qualification to proposal development and deal closure, in close collaboration with the
engineering team.
- Contribute to the go-to-market strategy, and lead marketing initiatives to strengthen Caeleste’s market presence.
- Align customer needs with internal R&D by mapping market trends to technology roadmaps and contributing to our imaging solutions.
- Represent Caeleste at conferences and trade shows.
- Provide strategic business insights and recommendations to the management team.
- Report directly to the Business Development Office Lead and support company-wide growth initiatives.
We are seeking a proactive and skilled professional who brings the following:
- A master’s degree in engineering (preferably electronics or physics) or a solid experience in driving sales and business development in a hightech B2B environment.
- An understanding in the areas of image sensors, digital and analog design, test electronics, photonics etc is considered a plus.
- Sound business acumen and a customer-centric focus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and expand your professional network.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the sales cycle to closure, delivering measurable business results.
- A strong passion for cutting-edge technologies and a continuous eagerness to stay updated on the latest innovations.
- Commitment to achieving results through teamwork and strong partnerships.
- The ability to effectively influence and persuade colleagues on technical, legal and business matters.
- Enjoying international travel to pursue business opportunities (up to 15% travel).
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal), with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences for clarity and impact.
