Key responsibilities
* Execute and control complex domestic and cross‑border payment flows
* Monitor and settle FX transactions and manage safeguarding controls
* Investigate and resolve complex breaks and reconciliation issues
* Act as escalation point for critical operational and liquidity cases
* Provide expert operational support to Front Office teams
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal control frameworks
* Analyse operational data to detect risks and inefficiencies
* Drive or contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives
* Work closely with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Treasury, and Product teams
The profile we are looking for
* Proven experience in a similar role within banking, fintech, payments, or financial services
* Strong background in back‑office, payments, or financial operations
* Able to work fully autonomously and take ownership of complex cases
* Highly accurate, structured, and resilient under pressure
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
* Comfortable working in a regulated financial environment
* Confident communicator with multiple internal stakeholders
* Fluent in English (French and/or Dutch is a plus)
