Your Role
As Finance Controlling Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the finance team, ensuring optimised cash management, robust balance sheet reporting, reliable master data and a strong internal control framework. You will lead a team of 3 and act as a key owner across credit management, cash forecasting, accounting controls and reporting.
Your Responsibilities
* Assess customer creditworthiness, set customer credit limits and support credit decisions within policy and authority limits
* Analyse customer financial statements, risk profiles, exposure and credit ratings to identify and mitigate emerging credit risks
* Lead monthly Credit Committee meetings, including preparation, facilitation, documentation and follow-up actions
* Prepare cash budgets and rolling 13-week forecasts, and explain variances against actuals
* Drive cash-in/cash-out analysis, working capital initiatives, DSO/DPO improvement and cash collection targets across the Benelux region
* Oversee monthly cash reporting, banking reconciliations, cash positioning and banking partner relationships
* Champion master data governance, internal controls, reconciliations, audit support, KPI reporting and process improvements

Who You Are
Must-haves
* Proven experience in external audit, financial controlling or treasury. xphnsxz A degree in Finance or Accounting is a strong plus
* Proven experience managing a team
* Strong background in cash forecasting, working capital management and credit analysis
* Advanced Excel skills, with experience using ERP systems, financial reporting tools and banking/cash management platforms
* Excellent communication in English and Dutch/French, including presenting to senior management and working across functions
Nice-to-haves
* Familiarity with internal control frameworks
* Exposure to a range of companies or environments (multiple legal entities)
* A strong learning mindset and curiosity for process improvement
