We’re looking for a Senior Data Architect to lead the transformation from a legacy data warehouse to a modern, cloud-first platform.
This is a high-impact, strategic role where you’ll define the data vision, design scalable architectures, and guide a talented technical team without getting pulled into day-to-day coding.
You’ll bring deep expertise in data modelling and a strong grasp of cloud ecosystems (GCP experience is a big plus), ensuring solutions are robust, compliant, and future-ready.
You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, translating complex needs into clear data strategies, while keeping a sharp eye on cost optimisation and FinOps. Experience in regulated industries like pharma is key, as is the ability to balance innovation with governance.
What you’ll bring:
Proven experience as a Senior Data Architect or similar leadership role
Strong data modelling expertise and architecture design skills
Track record of leading data warehouse modernisation initiatives
Deep understanding of cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
Ability to lead and mentor technical teams (no heavy coding required)
Strong business acumen with FinOps awareness
Experience in pharma or other regulated environments
Dutch language skills are a bonus - not essential
