The legal team consists of one in‑house legal professional and a paralegal who manages client documentation and inheritance‑related processes. The Head of Legal ensures the operating continuity of the department, defines internal procedures, and adapts them to evolving regulations. They participate in internal governance committees together with independent control functions and provide specialised legal insight when required. Job Description
* Ensure day‑to‑day continuity of the legal department, including planning, back‑up management, and workflow organisation.
* Define, maintain, and update procedures in line with regulatory and operational evolutions.
* Participate in internal governance committees with control functions and support them on legal topics.
* Validate suppliers and all new contracts entered into by the organisation.
* Oversee documentation and identification requirements linked to outsourcing and operational resilience frameworks applicable in the sector.
* Manage client‑related legal procedures.
* Draft legal opinions with concise Executive Summaries for operational stakeholders.
* Handle litigation matters.
* Manage fiscal (VAT, transaction‑related taxes, withholding obligations) and patrimonial questions (donations, ownership structures, estate‑related topics).
The Successful Applicant
* Bilingual French / Dutch.
* Master's degree in Law with at least 5 years of experience in a financial environment.
* Proficient with standard IT tools.
* Strong stress resilience and organisational skills.
* Excellent written communication and synthesis abilities.
* Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset.
