We’re a leading mobility provider in Belgium, committed to sustainable transport and putting customers first. As part of our digitalization roadmap, our Procurement team is growing—and we need a junior Category Buyer to help manage indirect purchases, ensure quality and save costs.
What You’ll Do
• Support Tender Processes: Prepare internal reports, draft specifications, evaluate bids, and help create contracts that meet cost, quality, and public-procurement requirements.
• Ensure On-Time Delivery: Liaise with internal stakeholders to track orders and resolve delivery issues.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the ICT Procurement Manager, executive sponsors, internal customers, and external suppliers.
• Compliance & Administration: Maintain procurement records, monitor supplier performance, and ensure adherence to legislation and company policies.
What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years of purchasing experience—experience in public-sector procurement is a plus
• Fluent in French or Dutch, with strong skills in the other national language; English proficiency is an asset
• Strong MS Office skills; familiarity with SAP Ariba or similar e-procurement tools is a plus
• Methodical and detail-oriented, with excellent planning, reporting, and deadline-management abilities
• Open-minded team player who can also work independently
• Solution-oriented, flexible, and comfortable under pressure
• High integrity and customer focus
