The Role
As Manager you will lead, inspire and contribute to our advisory team, known for its quality and commercial drive. This team works on a diverse range of advisory and transaction projects for key clients in the port and logistics sector across the globe. You will be at the forefront of change and development in our sector. From deep seaports & terminals to inland ports, logistic parks and special economic zones, you will be involved in developing strategies, identifying opportunities, the valuation of projects, structuring investments, and implementing transactions. Your success lies in ensuring our clients' success
As Manager you will also play a leading role in attracting new consultancy projects. Making use of your relevant network in the sector, you will define new opportunities for our clients, resulting in new mandates for our company. Your commercial focus will be on the Belgian and French markets and possibly including Francophone countries in Africa.
Your Qualifications
* You possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Port & Logistics sector, either with a leading global terminal operator in the container, bulk and/or general cargo segments or alternatively, a 'Big 4' or sector advisory firm background.
* A university degree in Economics, Finance, Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Relevant experience in areas such as: market analysis, finance and economics, strategy, infrastructure planning and development, and PPP and/or M&A transactions. International work experience is a must.
* A commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
* Fluency in English and proficiency in French is essential. While knowledge of Dutch and additional languages (Spanish, etc.) is a plus.
