Based in the Brussels area, our client is leading infrastructure company which is a fully connected economic hub for people and business. The company is an international reference in its sector, an essential flagship for Belgium and Brussels and is pursuing an ambitious growth plan, where performance, business diversification and sustainability represent the key pillars.

Position

The mission of the Head of Organisation Development & Transformation is to be at the forefront of the company’s people and culture evolution. He/She leads the design, governance, and continuous refinement of the company’s HR architecture and transformation roadmap, ensuring that the core people processes (performance management, talent development, succession planning, and workforce) are strategically aligned, future-proof and consistently applied across the business.

He/She plays a pivotal role in enabling organisational and cultural change, empowering senior leaders and teams to evolve regarding how they work towards a more collaborative and future-ready company. He/She provides key guidance in shaping mindsets and behaviors, challenging the status quo, and bringing thought leadership on organizational structure and governance, process improvement, strategic workforce planning and change readiness.

Main accountabilities :

Lead the transformation journey:

* Partner with the company’s senior leaders to steer the transformation roadmap, from vision to implementation, while providing guidance and challenging on key people decisions, monitoring progress, and ensuring that transformation initiatives land with impact.
* Help embed transformation principles throughout the business, ensuring strategic change is coherent and aligned with long-term ambitions while celebrating progress along the way.

Design the organization of the future:

* Act as a strategic advisor on organisation design, effectiveness, and governance.
* Bring insight into evolving leadership expectations, workforce trends, and capabilities to shape future-ready structures.
* Support cultural alignment and leadership development as part of broader transformation goals, ensuring the organisation evolves with purpose and clarity.

Build strategic HR frameworks:

* Lead the development of integrated, forward-looking HR frameworks, policies, and methodologies that serve both strategic alignment and operational excellence.
* Enable HR Centres of Expertise and Business Partners to deliver consistent, scalable solutions that enhance employee experience and business performance.
* Translate internal needs and external trends into actionable, future-focused HR architecture.

Inspire and develop a high-performing team:

* Lead and grow a team of 5-6 Organisation Development Project Managers who are passionate about impact and transformation.
* Create a collaborative, high-trust culture focused on delivery excellence and continuous learning.
* Enable the HR ecosystem to equip leaders and managers
* Ensure clear prioritization and governance across the OD portfolio, from policy development to scenario planning and transformation enablement.

Candidate profile

* Master-level education, preferably in human or business sciences, or equivalent by experience.
* Proven experience of minimum 10 years in organisation design/development, transformational change and HR architecture in a competitive corporate environment; an additional relevant experience in the consulting sector is an asset.
* Excellent combination of strategic/conceptual/analytical thinking and implementation skills, including the ability to structure, articulate, prioritise while being fully at ease in steering, embarking, facilitating, and coaching people at all levels, and ensuring efficient stakeholders management.
* Proven track record in influencing senior stakeholders and driving complex transformational change programs.
* Passion for people, purpose and progress, with the ability to turn ideas into reality.
* Experience in leading and developing a team.
* Fluent knowledge of Dutch, English and ideally also French.
