Credit Control Manager - Belgium (FTC)
This role is a fixed-term contract for approximately 3 months.
WHAT THEY DO
o Lead and manage a team of 4 Credit Controllers based in France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany, overseeing their daily operations and performance.
o Develop and implement credit control strategies to optimize cash flow and minimise risk across all regions.
o Controlling the process of payment for the organisation's services or products, and making sure that payments are received and paid promptly and efficiently.
o Liaise with the retailers to get the sales data to be able to invoice accurately and without dispute.
o Ensure partners are paid on time and in full.
o Collect payments from partners on time and in full.
o Ensure all supplier payments are made on time and in full.
o Ad hoc analysis and documentations for the monthly financial reviews.
o Use ERP (MS D365 FO) and support the development of dashboards on PowerBI.
o Preparation of bank payments.
o Booking bank statements.
o Support in the preparation of month-end closing and invoicing.
o Provide guidance and training to the credit control team, fostering their professional development.
o Monitor and report on key credit control metrics to senior management.
WHO THEY ARE
* Previous experience in a similar credit controller position with demonstrated leadership or management experience.
* Excellent advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI and of ERP systems (preferably MS D365 FO).
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to build own processes.
* Fluent in English & French (both spoken and written).
* Fluency in German and/or Dutch is a plus.
* Reliable and efficient with meticulous attention to detail.
* Good organisational skills.
* Highly result-oriented, proactive, and able to balance multiple priorities
simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
