JOB REQUISITION Business Manager LOCATION GROOT-BIJGAARDEN ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS JOB DESCRIPTION Purpose of the job: Robert Half is committed to expanding their service offerings and is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Unit Manager for Projectsourcing. In first instance we will focus on Finance Service Delivery and as a Business Unit Manager you will operationally drive and manage this business unit In this role, you will partner closely with the Managing Director of Project Sourcing to be involved in the launch of a brand-new service offering that complements our existing practice groups: FTEP (Full Time Employed Professionals), You will play a key role in implementing all the strategic guidelines, to drive the growth of the client portfolio and candidate attraction. You will be working with other practice groups and corporate services to finetune and optimize our service delivery. Principal accountabilities and duties: Support the implementation of the strategic direction of the new service offering in collaboration with Managing Director FTEP, leadership of other Practice Groups and our corporate service center. Be the person that guides and actions in the operational launch of the new business unit, overseeing all aspects of a startup, which means a wide variety of tasks and ability to switch from very hands-on tasks to soundboard with the MD on more conceptual topics. You develop a sales strategy. You are the operational driver to hire external project professionals with the support of RHFA and Talent Acquisition. You onboard and retain internal and external staff and you have evaluations processes in place. You participate in developing training material for internal/ external project consultants, also including organizing external trainings. You create a competence centre for the project professionals team. You do go to events focused on networking for Project Sourcing. You participate in creating an employer branding and culture for the new legal entity You will need to ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met, and contracts are executed in accordance with company policies and guidelines. You work with the Marketing team to execute on a marketing plan that promotes the new service offering effectively. You need to implement and drive KPIs and performance metrics to track the success and growth of the business unit. You will have an open and effective communication channel with key stakeholders, including the Managing Director, other practice groups and cross-functional departments. What you should bring to the role as Business Unit Manager Proven experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a startup or new business development capacity. Having experience in a similar environment is a plus Dutch and French with a very strong written and spoken English Strong financial acumen and the ability to supervise and monitor operationally a team of project professionals Ability to participate in cross-functional teams Affinity with legal requirements for the specific business Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Solution oriented Very hands-on, problem-solving abilities and able to think more strategically too A can do mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
