Become a Bus Driver at One of the Largest Transport Companies in Flanders!
Our client operates 37 depots, making it one of the biggest bus companies in Flanders. Despite its size, each location retains its local character. They take pride in their modern and diverse fleet, which includes minibuses, coaches, articulated (accordion) buses, and an increasing number of electric vehicles!
Your Role as a Bus Driver:
As a driver, you are the face of the company and De Lijn. You operate our buses and ensure a safe, smooth, and pleasant travel experience for all passengers.
1. Flexible working hours: You drive on various regional routes, with our planners taking your preferences into account.
2. Courteous and safe driving: You drive defensively and respectfully toward other road users.
3. Customer-friendly service: You assist passengers with a smile and answer questions about routes, fares, and schedules.
4. Care for your bus: You help keep your vehicle clean and in good condition, supported by our experienced mechanics.

5. You enjoy being on the road.
6. You have a D or DE driver’s license. If not, we’ll explore how to help you obtain one.
7. You are responsible: You ensure the comfort and safety of everyone on board and on the road.
8. You enjoy interacting with people and are happy to assist passengers.
9. You have a clean criminal record.

What We Offer You
10. Opportunity for a permanent contract after a successful interim period.
11. A full-time or part-time job in your region, offering freedom, variety, customer interaction, and responsibility.
12. Flexibility: If desired, you can work week on/week off or seasonally.
13. A gross bonus of €180.22 and a net allowance of €57.83 per month starting from 10 working days.
14. Weekend bonuses: 125% pay on Saturdays and 200% pay on Sundays.
