We are seeking a
Formulation Scientist
You will develop innovative liquid and parenteral drug products for small molecules in preclinical and clinical stages, contributing to formulation design, process development, hands-on experimentation, and technology transfer for clinical manufacturing. The role involves close collaboration with internal and external experts and offers opportunities to advance cutting-edge drug delivery technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and optimize formulations and processes for liquid and parenteral dosage forms.
* Conduct hands-on laboratory experiments and document results in electronic lab notebooks and reports.
* Review scientific literature and patents to identify best practices and innovation opportunities.
* Support master batch records, criticality assessments, and control strategies.
* Contribute to regulatory documentation and interact with health authorities.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners/CDMOs.
Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Bioengineering, or Chemical Engineering.
* Experience in liquid and parenteral formulation and process development for small molecules, preferably long-acting or targeted-release injectables.
* Knowledge of aseptic/sterile processes, lyophilization, nanonization, and advanced drug delivery systems (microspheres, liposomes, gels) is a plus.
* Strong scientific rigor, curiosity, innovation mindset, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent team player with strong communication skills and experience collaborating with external networks.
* Practical laboratory experience and commitment to safe practices.
