THE JOB
As an Accountant at Ticketmaster, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations, supporting the team with accurate and timely financial processes. From overseeing day-to-day transactions to supporting audits and reporting, you’ll help ensure compliance, efficiency, and precision in everything we do. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for delivering results in a fast-paced, international environment while reporting directly into the Finance Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
1. Accurately posting invoices and maintaining up-to-date financial records
2. Managing bank transactions and reconciliations with precision
3. Issuing client invoices in a timely and accurate manner
4. Monitoring and managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) balances
5. Overseeing financial control and reconciliation processes for each event
6. Preparing and coordinating both internal and external audits to ensure compliance
7. Organizing and executing weekly payment runs
8. Leading the preparation of monthly financial closings
9. Managing VAT returns with attention to detail and accuracy
10. Supporting group-level reporting requirements
11. Handling various administrative tasks to ensure smooth financial operations
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
12. You hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
13. You have already gained 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
14. You have a good command of Dutch and French, and an excellent command of English.
15. You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
16. Knowledge of Oracle accounting software is a plus.
