As a Multidisciplinary Project Engineer, you will manage industrial projects involving multiple technical disciplines (mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, utilities, civil engineering…). You are responsible for technical coordination, project execution, and ensuring that cost, schedule and quality targets are met.
You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle—from early‑stage studies to commissioning—while maintaining strong communication with internal and external stakeholders. This position is ideal for a versatile, structured and results‑oriented engineer looking to work on complex industrial projects.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
Project Management
* Define and monitor project scope, planning, budget and risks.
* Lead project meetings and ensure efficient communication among all stakeholders.
* Coordinate activities between internal teams, suppliers and contractors.
Technical Coordination
* Oversee and challenge engineering deliverables from various disciplines (mechanical/piping, E&I, automation, civil…).
* Ensure technical consistency and compliance with standards, regulations and industrial best practices.
* Review technical documents such as P&IDs, layouts, isometrics, electrical diagrams, datasheets, etc.
Site Supervision & Execution
* Follow up on construction activities, manage interfaces and verify installation quality.
* Handle field modifications (MOC) and address non‑conformities.
* Participate in testing, FAT/SAT and commissioning of new installations.
Documentation & Compliance
* Prepare or validate project documentation: specifications, reports, technical notes, acceptance dossiers.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (ATEX, PED, electrical norms, site safety…).
ABOUT YOU:
* Engineering degree (mechanical, electromechanical, industrial, process…).
* 4 to 8 years of experience managing multidisciplinary industrial projects.
* Solid understanding of industrial facilities and interfaces between technical disciplines.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several topics simultaneously.
* Effective communicator, proactive, with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
* Fluency in Dutch and English.
* Knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, Primavera) is an asset.
