We're looking for a skilled Full-Stack Consultant to join our client's team and play a key role in the development of a modern single-page web application built around multiple functional modules. In this role, you will take ownership of a core module focused on managing roles, responsibilities, and classification logic within a complex environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys working close to both the business logic and the technical architecture, and who wants to make a real impact by shaping a critical part of a large-scale system.
Your Role & Responsibilities
You will be involved in both back-end and front-end development, with a strong emphasis on system configuration, data modeling, and application performance:
* Develop and maintain a module built on complex data structures and business logic
* Work primarily on the back-end using PHP, Laravel, PostgreSQL, and Laravel Nova for configuration and setup management
* Optimize the application for performance, scalability, and security
* Contribute to the front-end using Tailwind CSS and Livewire
* Write and maintain unit tests using PHPUnit to ensure reliability and quality
* Collaborate in an agile environment using GitLab for version control and Jira for project tracking (Kanban)
Technical Environment
You will work in a modern development setup where quality and automation matter:
* Development and deployment supported by Docker
* Static code analysis using Phan (experience is a plus, not required)
* Close collaboration with cross-functional team members in a DevOps-minded, agile setup
The Ideal Candidate
You are a proactive developer who enjoys taking ownership and working in an international environment:
* Strong experience with Laravel, PHP, and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
* Comfortable in both back-end and front-end development
* Familiar with Git, CI/CD practices, and working in agile teams
* Experience with Docker or code quality tooling is a plus
* You feel at ease working in a multilingual environment (Dutch & French) with English as the project language
